Perfect family stay in Long Lake.
The cabin was cozy, yet gave our family plenty of room. That’s not easy with a teenage son and a teenage daughter. The 3 bedrooms were great. The hot water supply was wonderful, the bathroom was nice with a full-sized shower, and the extra vanity sink in the master bedroom was helpful.
The property was lovely with a picnic table and fire ring for each cabin, lounge chairs on the beach, a fire ring on the beach, two docks, and kayaks and canoes for guests to use.

We have stayed at the Vista for 6 years and have found it very clean and stocked with everything we need. It is just minutes from town and the lake is steps away.

Perfect place to relax and enjoy the Adirondacks.
We loved the cottage (The Nest) which was very clean, comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Having a dock on the property for our boat and the Long Lake boat launch only minutes away was very convenient. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owners who were friendly and helpful. We definitely recommend Journey’s End for a wonderful Adirondack getaway.

It was wonderful.
I stayed in The Nest, My cottage was so cute and so clean. Very tasty decorated. Had everything I needed. Had a nice screened porch. The bed was very comfortable. The view of the lake was breathtaking and especially the sunsets. I was very fortunate to meet the owners., Janie and Robert are the best host and such nice people. Before I left, I booked another trip for next year.

We were in town for a wedding so we didn’t have much time to really enjoy the property but it is absolutely beautiful. The cabin was clean and just as described. We had the pleasure of meeting and chatting with our host and he was great! We definitely would love to go back again sometime when we have some time to relax and really enjoy the absolutely amazing views.

I was extremely satisfied with my accommodations at Journey’s End! I felt very comfortable without any concerns, but just there to have fun and relax! The setting was perfect with the screened in porch, the cottage was very well supplied with cookware and everything I needed, It was very quiet and cozy! My stay was perfect with such great weather, kayaks, and so many trails, hikes and waterfalls to explore! It was the most relaxing and restful vacation I’ve ever had! Thank you for providing such a great place to get away and just enjoy myself! Journey’s End is a perfect place to unwind and feel very refreshed!

Our cottage was clean, comfy, and right on the water! It was very peaceful sitting on the back patio drinking our morning coffee while soaking in the gorgeous views. Rob and Janie were wonderful people and certainly go the extra mile to make your stay memorable! Our dog Patches had a great time too! We will definitely be returning. We all loved it!

Journeys End was a perfect combination of enjoying quiet time with each other as well as meeting and talking to our lovely neighbors. We took advantage of morning coffee on the enclosed porch, fishing off the dock, and use of the kayaks and canoe. We loved being surrounded by trees, but having a view of the lake and only steps away from the beach. We had relaxing evenings of grilling on the provided grill & s’mores in the fire pit. We were close to many hikes, restaurants, shopping, and museums.

Journey’s End is very well-maintained, convenient, organized, and simply a beautiful location, to name a few things we loved. We stayed in the Vista cottage and it was perfect for our group, and had everything you needed from sleeping to cooking essentials. The property’s availability of kayaks, paddle boards, etc were a big plus, especially for my kids. It is also pet friendly so we were glad we could bring our dog along. Owners (Janie and Robert) are also easy to reach if you need anything

The Haven at Journey’s End was truly a wonderful place for a short stay for me and my daughter over the Columbus Day weekend.
The cabin was incredibly well-appointed with dishes, glasses, pots, pans, etc. It was clean, welcoming, and provided an all around great spot to enjoy the weekend.
Among other highlights was the amazing view of the night sky from the on premise dock.
Although the weather didn’t cooperate over the entire weekend (as expected in the Adirondacks), there were canoes and kayaks available for use. I would have loved to take advantage of their use had the weather been more favorable!

We had fun hiking Mt. Goodnow and Castle Rock. We also enjoyed white water rafting. Rail bikes might also be fun.

Great spot for fishing, dock sitting and quality family time. Adore the small town of Long Lake. Great proximity to Tupper, Saranac, and Placid. Awesome hiking for experienced and inexperienced hikers. Coming to Journeys End always feels like coming home.
What a restful, easy going and fun week we had!!
We love Long Lake, the cabins were clean, well maintained and met all our needs. Our shower broke and we called-the caretakers were there within an hour and had if all fixed in no time! We had a place to put our kayaks and were also able to host some friends with no problems. Really great week!!

The accommodations were so cozy. We loved being right on the water with the paddleboard and kayaks available. The cabin was so clean and provided everything we needed! Janie was a EXCELLENT host and so accommodating and VERY available. We love our stay so much and plan to come back!
